The District Mission Management Unit (DMMU) Darrang is the district-level body for implementing the Assam State Rural Livelihoods Mission (ASRLM) under the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana - National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NRLM).
Located with its headquarters in Mangaldai, DMMU Darrang works diligently towards reducing rural poverty by creating strong community institutions for women, improving financial literacy, facilitating bank credit linkages, and fostering micro-enterprises.

Dedicated Community Resource Persons (CRPs) working at the grassroot level to mentor SHGs, manage credit plans, and maintain Panchasutras.
Providing market access for local handloom, handicrafts, and rural organic products manufactured by rural SHG women.
Offering placement-linked skill training programs for unemployed rural youth in Darrang district to secure sustainable wage employment.
